Prohibited Items
Adult-only?
We do not allow pornography, adult videos/DVD’s, or adult sex toys to be sold on Dryden Observer Classifieds. We also do not accept ads offering prostitution/ escort services.
Alcohol?
We don’t allow any alcohol to be sold on Dryden Observer Classifieds due to age restrictions and licensing laws.
Counterfeit, Replica and Trademarked Items?
Counterfeits, unauthorized replicas (such as counterfeit watches, handbags, or other accessories) or unauthorized copies (such as copies of software programs, video games, music albums, movies, television programs, or photographs) are not permitted on Dryden Observer Classifieds. Unauthorized copies include (but are not limited to) copies that are pirated, duplicated, backed-up or bootlegged. It is illegal to sell unauthorized copies of media.
Guideline: If the product you’re selling bears the name or logo of a company, but it wasn’t made or endorsed by that company, don’t post it on Dryden Observer Classifieds.
Drugs and Drug paraphenalia?
The safety of Dryden Observer Classifieds users is extremely important to us. As well as drugs banned under legislation, we also do not allow items which can be used to consume drugs.
Endangered or Protected animals or animal parts?
We do not accept the sale of animals that are protected species by law. We do not accept the sale of any animal parts, whether protected species or not.
Firearms and Ammunition?
Safety concerns as well as national and international laws mean that no guns or ammunition can be sold on Dryden Observer Classifieds. We also do not allow airguns, even those legally available.
Fireworks?
We don’t allow Illegal fireworks to be sold.
Human Parts and Remains?
Humans, the human body or any human body parts may not be listed on Dryden Observer Classifieds. Examples of prohibited items include, but are not limited to: organs, bone, blood, waste, sperm, and eggs.
Lottery Tickets?
Lottery tickets may not be sold on Dryden Observer Classifieds.
Multi-level Marketing, Pyramid, Matrix and Trading Schemes?
Dryden Observer Classifieds users do not find these ads useful or relevant. As a result, we do not allow these ads on Dryden Observer Classifieds.
Personal information or Mailing Lists?
We do not accept the sale of bulk email, Internet Protocol (IP), Instant Messenger (IM), or mailing lists that contain names, addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifying information. Any tools or software designed predominantly to send unsolicited commercial messages (UCE or “spam”) will not be permitted.
Prescription Drugs and Materials?
We do not allow any prescription drugs to be sold on Dryden Observer Classifieds. This includes “over the counter” items.
Stolen Items?
Dryden Observer Classifieds works closely with law enforcement authorities. The sale of stolen property on our site is strictly prohibited and we will do everything we can to support the police in achieving successful conviction of any offenders.
Tobacco and Tobacco Products?
Tobacco is controlled by law. We do not allow any cigarettes, cigars or loose tobacco to be sold on Dryden Observer Classifieds.
Unlocking Software?
Software to help “unlock” any electrical items is not allowed to be sold on Dryden Observer Classifieds.
Used underwear?
The sale of used underwear (briefs, thongs, boxer shorts etc) is not permitted on Dryden Observer Classifieds. And ewww. Really? Who do you think wants your dirty drawers, anyway?
Weapons and Knives?
Safety concerns as well as national laws mean that no weapons or knives can be sold on Dryden Observer Classifieds. This includes historical ornamental items.
